Birkdale is a well-established Care Home for older people situated in Oakengates, Telford, Shropshire. Originally, Birkdale was a private family home before being converted by the previous owners to become a residential home.  The present service provider, The Keepings Ltd, are currently developing and improving the premises since taking over ownership in October 2003. The work being carried out is to the highest specification and with the needs of our service users foremost.

Birkdale has a large car park in front of the building, with paved patio areas to the sides and rear of the building. Birkdale is ideally situated for Oakengates town, which provides amenities such as  shops, post office, doctor’s surgery and other useful facilities.

The purpose of Birkdale is to provide a high standard of accommodation and personal care to people aged sixty-five and above.  The maximum number of service users the Home is registered to cater for is twenty nine.
